The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Through Integrative Therapies course offers a thorough perspective of neurorehabilitation by merging evidence-based physiotherapy methods with holistic restoration strategies. The program, created for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and neurorehab specialists, emphasizes enhancing recovery outcomes for people with traumatic and acquired brain injuries.
Participants will learn about advances in neuroplasticity, sensory-motor retraining, and functional task-oriented rehabilitation. The integrative practice combines complementary approaches and methods including mindfulness-based movement, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), vestibular retraining, and manual neurofacilitation techniques.
With the use of guided videos, practice-based videos, and clinical case studies, participants will discover how to create individualized, integrative rehabilitation programs that address cognitive, motor, and emotional recovery. There will be a focus on patient-centered therapy, stress modulation, and balance of neural systems through movement and mind-body coordination.
Graduates of this course will be granted the Certified Integrative Brain Injury Rehabilitation Credential, which demonstrates their skills in holistic neuro recovery and enables graduates to apply of advanced, multidisciplinary approaches to care into clinical practice.
